Constant Pressure Systems
with Centrifugal Pumps

Flint & Walling's NEW Artesian Drive is a line of custom programmed Variable Frequency Drive Controls "VFDs" that can turn your centrifugal pump into a constant pressure pump system. When the Artesian VFD Drive is sized properly with a 3 Phase motor driven centrifugal pump, the Artesian Variable Frequency Pump Control eliminates pressure cycling typical of conventional pressure switch controlled pump systems. The Artesian VFD Control from Flint and Walling provides a constant output pressure by varying the speed of the motor, increasing or decreasing the speed based on the water system demands.

The Artesian Drive is factory programmed to work with F&W Centrifugal Pumps to provide optimum performance and motor protection, however it can be used with other pump brands, provided the pump is powered by a three phase motor with a maximum current output that falls in the range or the F&W Artesian Drive Control.
 

FEATURES

Pre Programmed Drives with no requirement for a field technician to program the drive.

The drives are available fro 3 phase centrifugal pumps from 1 hp thru 20 hp.

Pumps up to 3 hp can be run on standard 230 Volt Single Phase Power,

Control can control the centrifugal pump to produce 30 psi up to 80 psi constant water pressure.

Works with a smaller pressure tank than conventional pumps require.

The Artesian Drive soft start reduces mechanical and electrical stress, making your pump and motor last longer.

Drives have built-in protection and diagnostics for Motor Overload, Locked or Bound Pump with auto reversing torque, Low line voltage, Short circuit, High voltage and lightning protection, Intelligent load monitoring for Dry Run conditions, and Overheated drive detection with automatic reset.
