Shipped to you pre-assembled and ready for easy installation. Comes complete with both filter cartridges. Stage #1 has a PFC1 dual purpose carbon impregnated cellulose cartridge polishing your water and trapping sediment down to 5 micron. Stage #2 has a PFCBR210 carbon block multimedia cartridge that greatly reduces the amounts of heavy metals and VOCs in your water. The cartridge will remove up to 96% of lead and up to 98% of mercury. In addition this cartridge will remove up to 99% of giardia and cryptosporidium cysts as well as sediment particles down to 1/2 micron in size. To insure that your water is always being filtered this unit comes with a WQA validated, 1800 gallon, patented automatic shut-off valve made from NSF listed materials. Filter has a lead free, long reach chrome faucet that meets State of California requirements. Unit has a white aluminum mounting bracket with stainless steel screws. A saddle valve for tapping into your water servcie line is also included. |
