BRASS CHECK VALVES

Brass check valves are used in a water well installation to keep the water from flowing back toward the pump when it is not pumping. This will keep the water supply line full of water at all times, eliminating the air build up that was part of the drain back well system.

Spring loaded check valves will operate in either the vertical or horizontal position and are designed to provide secure sealing action under both high and low pressure applications. The check valves listed below are rated at 400 psi. The heavy cast brass body with hex ends, are built with extra strength for your deep well installation. Corrosion resistant poppet, jam proof Delrin stem guide, and a stainless steel spring ensure a watertight seal, each and every time. These check valves are stocked with female pipe threads on both ends. They are used just like a coupling. When setting a submersible pump, use one check valve up from the pump one length of pipe, approximately 21 feet. After that, use one check valve every 5 to 6 lengths of pipe, until you get to the surface of the well. 1", 1-1/4" & 2" are Lead Free.

BRASS 2 HOLE CHECK VALVES

Heavy brass bodied check valves with two tapping holes. A 1/4" female pipe thread tapping on the outlet side of the check valve poppet, and a 1/8" female pipe thread tapping on the inlet side of the check valve poppet. These check valves are female iron pipe thread on each end. These check valves are normally used with drain back well systems where the line must drain back into the well to prevent freezing.

BRASS SWING CHECK VALVES

Brass swing check valves are normally installed in a horizontal position and are not spring loaded. Brass body valves with female pipe thread connection are rated at 125 psi. The brass swing disc seats directly against a ground seat in the brass valve body.
