VU FLOW SCREEN FILTERS AND SAND SEPARATORS

VU FLOW SCREEN FILTERS are designed to screen out sand and sediment while water is passing through the screen in the clear plastic housing of the filter. The clear housing lets you know when it is time to purge the unit with the ball valve on the bottom.

VU FLOW SCREENS are 100 mesh screen equal to 152 micron or .006" (6/1000) screened. All units are solvent weld for the inlet and outlet. Available 1", 1-1/2" and 2".

VU FLOW SAND SEPARATORS are equipped with a shorter, finer screen to allow more room at the bottom for sand retention, between purge times. VU FLOW SAND SEPARATORS are 250 mesh screen, equal to 61 micron or .0024" (24/10000) screened. Units are designed for 100 degree F maximum water temperature and maximum 150 psi pressure.
